Addie's Notes: There is nothing quite as beautiful as a bald baby in a crocheted bonnet!  Knot stitch works up quickly, and is really beautiful in combination with the traditional crochet borders.  I recommend using a thin silk or satin ribbon woven through the back and sides as ties to finish out the bonnet.
